A new restaurant and retail store is opening, and we are looking for experienced, reliable and hardworking people to join our team.

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have previous relevant experience in the hospitality, restaurant or retail industry
• Are reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Are neat, well-presented and take pride in their appearance
• Have reliable transport and will not have difficulty getting to and from work
• Are available to work long hours and extended shifts when required
• Are available to work weekends and public holidays
• Can work effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Have a positive attitude and work well as part of a team
• Can follow instructions and maintain high standards of cleanliness, service and presentation
• Are physically able to perform the duties required
• Have good communication skills and are responsive to calls and WhatsApp messages

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

We are specifically looking for candidates with relevant experience in established restaurants, cafés, retail stores or similar environments.

Fast-food / quick-service restaurant experience alone will NOT be considered sufficient relevant experience for these positions.

We are looking for candidates who understand professional restaurant and retail environments, customer service, presentation, hygiene, speed, accuracy and high operating standards.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

CASHIERS

• Previous cashier, point-of-sale or retail experience is essential
• Must be comfortable handling cash and processing transactions
• Must be accurate, efficient and friendly
• Good customer service skills are essential

MERCHANDISERS

• Previous merchandising, retail or stock-handling experience is preferred
• Must be organised and physically able to work on your feet
• Must have good attention to detail
• Must take pride in keeping displays and shelves neat and well presented

KITCHEN STAFF / COOKS

• Previous commercial kitchen or restaurant experience is essential
• Must have experience with food preparation and working in a busy kitchen
• Must understand food hygiene and cleanliness requirements
• Must be able to work efficiently under pressure
• THIS IS A COOK / KITCHEN STAFF POSITION – WE ARE NOT RECRUITING CHEFS

BARISTAS

• Previous barista experience is essential
• Must be confident preparing coffee in a busy environment
• Must have good customer service skills
• Must be neat, efficient and attentive to detail

YOUR ONLY EXPERIENCE IS IN FAST-FOOD / QUICK-SERVICE RESTAURANTS

Experience from fast-food or quick-service establishments on its own does not meet our experience requirements.
