Job description
NBC Holdings is a leading force in the South African employee benefits arena, providing a comprehensive range of employee benefits, products and services.
We are seeking a Contributions Administrator to Manage a full portfolio for a fund/s to meet the Service Provider Agreement SPA’s. Assist with the management of business processes by solving day-to-day problems; checking and verifying data and action the first authorisation of contribution updates.
Maintain accurate and complete membership data:
- Process monthly contribution updates for specific funds
- Section 13A – Identify all participating employers with outstanding payments and /or schedules liaise with Fund accounts and notify the Fund monitoring person
- Provide daily stats to the Team Leader in the required format
- Productivity target is 15 updates per administrator
- Ensure Section 14 allocations are completed when received.
Provide excellent customer service:
- Attend to customer queries within the agreed SLA of 24 hours
- Proactively identify opportunities for new business and improvements within the Fund
- Attend to and resolve all escalations and complaints within the stipulated SLA
- Provide feedback to clients when needed and encourage open communication with clients
Report Fund information and statistics:
- Compete the preparation of daily stats and submission of this report to management
- Facilitate the preparation of Fund Year end recons and reports required
- Clearing of unallocated payments and reporting on remaining balances for Year End
- To ensure all matters pertaining to the updates process as communicated to the team
Adhere to NBC Processes and Procedures:
- Process all contribution updates as per NBC Standards, processes and procedures
- Follow admin standards as per client SPA
- Adhere to company code of conduct, legislative requirements and protocols
Qualifications and Experience:
- A BCom Degree in Finance, Economics or relevant to the Retirement Funds industry qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of Retirement Funds Administration
- Knowledge of NBC Administration processes, procedures, legislation systems (Everest) and other products and services
- Industry understanding – clients and competitors
- NBC Operational Business Processes
- Knowledge of processes for managing data and records
Skills and Behavioural Attributes:

- Compliance to fund rules, legislation, policies, etc.
- Retention, talent management and succession planning in terms of staffing
