Finance Administrator: Head Office
Main Purpose of the Position
The Finance Administrator forms an intricate part of the Finance team and is responsible for the shared service role, processing transactions between Head Office and the individual branches.
Key Responsibilities
Process financial transactions between Head Office and branches accurately and timely.
Maintain financial records and ensure proper documentation.
Assist in reconciliation of accounts and resolving discrepancies.
Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
Assist with financial audits and provide necessary documentation.
Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review.
General Duties & Personal Excellence
Perform ad-hoc duties as required.
Practice flexibility and independent work ethic.
Lead by example and maintain professional conduct.
Practice the 5S methodology: Sort, Set in Order, Standardize, Self-discipline, Sustain.
Take ownership and ensure smooth departmental operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
Matric certificate or equivalent (minimum requirement).
Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (advantageous).
Minimum 2 years’ experience in financial administration or accounting.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and accounting software.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial processing.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Stellenbosch, Western Cape 7605: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)

- Retail: 3 years (Preferred)
