Griller - Mochachos

Location: La Lucia Ridge, Durban, KwaZulu-Natal
Employment Type: Full-time / Shift Work

Job Summary: Mochachos La Lucia Ridge is seeking a friendly, reliable and hardworking Griller to join our team.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a QSR (fast food restaurant) kitchen is ESSENTIAL.
Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Good communication skills.
Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Passionate about food quality, cleanliness, and customer service.
Must be punctual, trustworthy, and a team player.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and grill menu items according to company standards.
Maintain high food safety and hygiene standards.
Ensure food quality and presentation are consistent.
Keep the grill and PREP station clean and well-organised.
Assist with stock rotation and other kitchen duties as required.

Minimum Requirements:

Fluent in English is Essential
Previous GRILL experience in a fast-food environment is essential. ONLY Candidates with a Minimum of 3 years experience in the Quick sservice restaurant industry such as Nandos, Pedros and Mochachos, must apply and will be considered
Ability to work shifts on close i.e. store closes at 9pm and clean up takes places thereafter. Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Matric certificate (Grade 12)
Punctual, reliable, and MUST be able to work well under pressure.
