Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Cornubia, Durban. We’re looking for an energetic, proactive, and highly organised Key Team Member to join our growing team. For the right person, Simunye Media offers the opportunity to learn, grow, work across different areas of the business and make a meaningful contribution as part of a close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of the business and assist with a range of operational requirements
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, partners and stakeholders
• Assist with new business development, networking, client follow-ups and identifying opportunities
• Support promotional campaigns, events and activations
• Assist with event coordination and logistics, including venues, staffing and promotional materials
• Help manage social media and digital communication
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure projects and activities run smoothly
• Assist with customer and client communication and follow-up
• Take ownership of tasks and projects from start to finish
• Provide general support wherever needed to keep the team and business moving forward

Essential requirements

• Own reliable car and valid driver’s licence
• Based in KwaZulu-Natal
• Able to work on-site from our Cornubia office
• Own laptop
• Good computer and social media skills
• Previous experience in a business, marketing, sales, events, promotions or client-facing environment would be an advantage
