Hiring: Part-Time Mathematics Tutor -Roodepoort

Bridge Tutoring Services is expanding, and we are looking for a dedicated, results-driven Mathematics Tutor to join our team in Roodepoort for part-time, in-person lessons.

If you have a knack for breaking down complex equations and helping students turn "math anxiety" into academic confidence, we want to hear from you!

The Role

Location: In-person sessions in Roodepoort and surrounding suburbs.
Subjects: Mathematics (CAPS and IEB curricula).
Format: 1-on-1 home lessons and/or focused group sessions.
Type: Part-time / Hourly.

Key Responsibilities

Simplify core mathematical concepts ranging from foundational algebra to advanced calculus and trigonometry.
Help students develop effective problem-solving strategies and exam techniques.
Drill past papers and assist with test preparation.
Provide clear, constructive feedback to parents on their child’s weekly progress.

What We’re Looking For

Academic Record: A strong academic background with a distinction (Level 7) in Matric Mathematics.
Background: Ideally a university student or graduate studying Engineering, Actuarial Science, BSc, or Education.
Location & Mobility: Must be based in or easily able to travel around Roodepoort .
Soft Skills: Highly patient, punctual, professional, and able to build great rapport with high school and primary learners.
