Pop-Up Coordinator / Retail & Pop-Up Assistant

We are looking for a Pop-Up Coordinator to manage the day-to-day running of our pop-up retail space at De Wet Square and support our rotating tenants.

The role includes:

• Coordinating tenant bookings, access, setup and handovers
• Preparing and maintaining the space before, during and after activations
• Communicating with tenants and prospective brands
• Managing the pop-up calendar and enquiries
• Assisting with deliveries, collections and practical requirements
• Welcoming customers and assisting with sales/POS
• Preparing and serving coffee and simple items when required
• Taking basic photos/videos and assisting with Instagram content
• Supporting launches, events and special activations
• Ensuring the space is secure and properly closed

We are looking for someone who is:

• Reliable, organised and proactive
• Friendly, professional and confident with people
• Detail-oriented with a good eye for presentation
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership
• Confident using WhatsApp, email, POS, iOS and basic computer systems
• Social-media savvy, particularly Instagram
• Comfortable with practical, hands-on work
• Flexible to work occasional weekends and evenings
• Hospitality, retail or barista experience is advantageous
• An iPhone would be helpful for photography, social media and day-to-day communication

Hours: Flexible, with increased availability required during pop-up activations, including occasional weekends and evenings.
