Property Accommodation Consultant UK-Focused Property Independent Contractor Basis

We are a well-established UK-focused company with 7 years of experience providing temporary accommodation solutions for insurance companies and their policyholders. When a property is affected by fire, flood, or other insured damage, we assist by sourcing suitable temporary accommodation for displaced tenants and families. Our team ensures that the accommodation process is handled efficiently, professionally, and with excellent customer service from the initial enquiry through to the end of the stay. We are looking for a Customer Service & Property Accommodation Consultant to join our office-based team. You will be responsible for managing accommodation enquiries, sourcing and securing suitable properties at competitive rates, and ensuring that clients and tenants receive a high level of service throughout their stay. This is a varied role combining customer service, sales, property sourcing, administration, and relationship management. Key Responsibilities Receive and manage enquiries from clients Understand each client's accommodation requirements and source suitable properties. Search for and secure properties at competitive market rates. Negotiate rates and booking terms with landlords, agents, and accommodation providers. Ensure all client requirements are met, including location, size, accessibility, pets, parking, and other specific needs. Arrange and manage temporary accommodation bookings. Handle requests for extensions to existing bookings. Assist tenants with issues or queries during their stay. Liaise with landlords, letting agents, property managers, and other accommodation providers. Resolve problems quickly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience for all parties. Maintain accurate records of bookings, enquiries, communications, and property information. Follow up on enquiries and opportunities to maximise successful bookings. Provide a consistently high standard of customer service. Work as part of a team to ensure enquiries and bookings are dealt with efficiently and within required timeframes. We are looking for someone who is: Experienced in customer service and/or sales. Confident communicating with customers and professional contacts by telephone and email. Highly organised and able to manage multiple enquiries and bookings simultaneously. PC literate with good general computer skills. An excellent communicator with an excellent command of written and spoken English. Confident, professional, friendly, and solutions-focused. Comfortable negotiating and working to secure competitive rates. Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Flexible and willing to work shifts across a 7-day operating schedule. Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing excellent service. Experience in any of the following would be highly advantageous: UK property or real estate Property management Lettings or estate agency Short-term or temporary accommodation Serviced accommodation Insurance accommodation Relocation services Hospitality Customer service or sales within a property-related environment UK or international property/real estate experience is ideal but not essential for the right candidate. Working Hours This is an office-based position. You will work 5 days out of 7, covering shifts between: 9:00 AM – 11:00 PM Shift patterns will be scheduled to ensure appropriate coverage throughout the operating hours, including weekends. Salary & Benefits Salary: R10,000 per month + bonuses Further details regarding the bonus structure will be discussed during the recruitment process. Training Training commences: 5 October Successful candidates will receive training on the company's systems, processes, accommodation procedures, customer service standards, and the requirements of the business. This is an independent contractor role, the successful candidates are liable for there own taxes and other obligations.

Pay: R10 000,00 per month
