Reports To: Coordinator Departmental Nursing Services (CDNS)

Employment Type: Full-Time with Benefits

Contract Duration: Five (5) years fixed-term contract

Grade: F

Number of Positions: One (1)

Job Summary Provide safe, quality, and patient-centred nursing care, supervise nursing staff, coordinate nursing services, and ensure adherence to professional standards and hospital policies.

Nursing

Minimum Qualifications And Requirements

• Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery.
• Registered with the Lesotho Nursing Council.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Critical thinking and sound decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Flexibility to work different shifts and across various departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients.
• Supervise and support Nursing Assistants and other nursing staff.
• Ensure compliance with nursing standards, policies, and procedures.
• Coordinate patient care and maintain accurate records.
• Administer immunisations, TB and STD medications.
• Provide patient education on nutrition, healthcare, prenatal care, and breastfeeding.
