Coordinator Mine

In this role you will be responsible for:
- Coordinate and monitor daily mining activities (drilling, blasting, loading and hauling) to meet daily and weekly production targets.
- Ensure production targets and quality standards are achieved.
- Optimise equipment utilisation and operational efficiency.
- Ensure full compliance with MHSA and site-specific safety standards.
- Manage operational challenges.
- Compile and submit production, safety and operational reports.
- Work closely with geology to ensure accurate ore/waste identification and optimise safe, efficient production in line with Mine plans.
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure equipment availability, minimise downtime and optimise maintenance for safe and efficient mining operations.
About you:
- Grade 12
- Valid Blasting Certificate for Opencast Mines
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in open-cast mining operations, including 2 years in supervisory experience
- Planning and coordination ability
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Leadership and people management skills
- Must have own transport and a valid driver’s license
- Medically fit to perform work at a mine
- Computer literacy
