Job description

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Garden / Outdoor Sales person to join our team. The ideal candidate must have strong product knowledge of all Garden / Outdoor, fittings and related accessories, and be able to provide professional advice and solutions to both DIY customers and trade professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Pleasantly assist customers with the Garden / Outdoor selection based on their needs.

> Provide expert advice on Garden/Outdoor & accessories

> Upsell and cross-sell related items to increase sales.

> Maintain accurate knowledge of current stock, pricing, and promotions.

> Ensure the Garden/Outdoor department is well-merchandised, clean, and fully stocked.

> Handle customer queries and complaints professionally.

> Assist with stock takes, inventory control, and receiving stock.

Requirements:

> Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent

> Minimum 3 years’ experience in Garden/Outdoor sales within a retail or wholesale environment

> Strong knowledge of Garden/Outdoor products

> Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R5 000,00 - R6 000,00 per month
