Introduction
Leading organisation within the Plant Hire and Heavy Equipment industry is seeking an experienced and driven Site Manager to oversee the successful operation of a busy site servicing.
This role is suited to a hands-on leader with exceptional operational management, customer relationship, financial and people management skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient site operations, maximising equipment utilisation, maintaining strong client relationships and leading a high-performing team.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the plant hire site.
- Ensure maximum utilisation, availability and performance of plant and equipment.
- Build, maintain and strengthen long-term relationships with key customers.
- Lead, coach and manage site personnel, including performance management and HR-related activities.
- Manage site budgets, financial performance and cost control.
- Drive operational excellence while ensuring high levels of customer service.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate site resources to meet customer requirements and operational targets.
- Monitor operational performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a safe, productive and customer-focused working environment.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Management or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years' management experience within the Plant Hire, Heavy Equipment or Equipment Servicing industry.
- Proven experience servicing the Forestry, Paper & Pulp sector is highly beneficial
- Strong operational management experience.
- Demonstrated customer relationship management experience.
- Sound financial, budgeting and cost control experience.
- HR and people management experience.
- Excellent leadership, planning and problem-solving abilities.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Fluent in bothAfrikaans and English (spoken and written).
