Job Summary
The Stock Control Administrator is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring efficient stock movement within the organization. The role supports operational efficiency by ensuring stock is received, stored, issued, and recorded accurately while minimizing stock losses and discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock management systems.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure adequate inventory is available to meet operational requirements.
- Process stock receipts, transfers, returns, and adjustments.
- Conduct regular stock counts and cycle counts, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Reconcile physical stock with system records and prepare variance reports.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure timely stock replenishment.
- Ensure all stock movements are accurately documented and authorized.
- Assist with stock audits and support internal and external auditors.
- Monitor slow-moving, obsolete, and damaged stock and report findings to management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and inventory control standards.
- Maintain organized filing and documentation of stock-related records.
Qualifications and Experience
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Experience using inventory or ERP systems (e.g., Sage, SAP, Pastel, Syspro, or similar).
Skills and Competencies
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- High level of integrity and accountability.

- Inventory accuracy.
- Timely processing of stock transactions.
- Reduction in stock variances.
- Completion of stock counts within scheduled timelines.
- Accurate and timely inventory reporting.

Pay: R6 000,00 - R7 500,00 per month
