Stock Controller

GeoSUN provides products and services to operators of large utility scale solar projects. The company installs and maintains high accuracy meteorological weather stations, with a focus on solar measurements. GeoSUN has an opportunity for a stock controller to join the team for an office-based position.

Responsibilities

Maintain and update the stock management system;

Allocate stock and materials to projects;

Monitor stock levels and re-order consumables and spares;

Receive and inspect incoming stock deliveries;

Organize and label stock items and storage areas;

Issue stock to technicians, sales and project teams;

Keep stock rooms, receiving areas, and workspaces tidy;

Complete periodic stock takes and audits;

Track cable, terminals, glands, fittings, and other electrical consumables;

Wiring and assembly of weather stations when required.

Minimum requirements

Matric Certificate;

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Particularly excel and word);

Good English proficiency;

Good health;

Reliable transport to work;

Valid driver’s License.

The following will be beneficial but not a requirement

N4 to N6 qualification in electrical engineering or other technical qualification(s);

Previous experience with stock systems;

Fair understanding of electrical and electronic components.
