Role Description The Student Promoter role at UniAirza is a part-time, on-site position based in Stellenbosch. In this role, the Student Promoter will raise awareness of UniAir’s services among students through face-to-face outreach, campus activations, and participation in university events. Daily activities include explaining UniAir’s value proposition, assisting peers with sign-ups and bookings, and distributing promotional materials. The Student Promoter will gather feedback from students, share insights with the UniAirza team, and support basic training or onboarding sessions for new users. This role also involves collaborating with the marketing team to execute local campaigns and maintaining a professional, student-centered presence on campus.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills to engage with diverse student groups and clearly explain UniAir’s services.
- Customer Service skills to assist students with questions, sign-ups, and basic troubleshooting.
- Sales skills to encourage adoption of UniAir’s platform and promote specific services or offers.
- Training skills to support introductory sessions or demonstrations for new users.
- Marketing skills to help implement campus campaigns, events, and promotional activities.
- Currently enrolled at Stellenbosch University, with a good understanding of student life and needs.
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage part-time hours alongside academic responsibilities.
- Comfortable working on-site at campus and nearby student areas; prior experience in promotions or peer leadership is an advantage.
