Job description
Mr Price is looking for an experienced Head of digital and social marketing to join our dynamic brand team. We are looking for an analytical and creative thinker who is experienced in leading a team, has a broad understanding of digital and social marketing channels and implements strategies aligned with marketing objectives to drive brand awareness, engagement and revenue.
**Qualifications: 3 years bachelor’s degree in Video Tech or equivalent (ISCED 6)
6+ years in a senior videographer position preferably in a retail environment.
1-2+ years’ experience managing teams.
Portfolio demonstrating video expertise.
Thorough understanding of Camera equipment, use of camera equipment, lighting, editing, video fundamentals, Adobe Creative Suite, RedCine-X Pro/DaVinci Resolve,
Familiarity with Enterprise Content Management Systems (ATG BCC, Adobe Scene7, Responses). Strong Camera knowledge and skills
Some experience in managing or mentoring individuals

Responsibilities: Strategic Video Direction & Conceptualisation
Translate the Creative Leaders seasonal direction into the video pitch for each sub-brand.
Create scamps, storyboard and shoot plans aligned to brief requirements.
Drive innovation in video formats (long-form, short-form, social, OOH, in-store, motion graphics).
Collaborate with Brand and Creative team in order to understand brief requirements and timelines for all video content to be developed.
Find appropriate reference which aligns to the needs of a project.
Generate new on trend ideas in collaboration with the design team.
Content Development
Allocate work across the team and ensure delivery to timelines
Direct shoots on-set with strong technical command of camera, lighting and audio.
Capture content that delivers against the agreed seasonal creative pitch and the agreed scamps.
Manage video gear and external videographers and video suppliers.
Ensure usability of all work across all platforms.
Attend Pre Productions for assigned jobs, ensuring clear direction for shoots.
Oversee and source shoot team assistants and relevant equipment from external suppliers.
Edit & Manage
Manage and oversee shoots end-to-end; ensuring correct equipment, crew and external suppliers as used.
Meet with traffic and production weekly to ensure shoots are planned and video allocations are done in advance.
Attend all video reviews in weekly Brand Review meetings.
Collaborate with video team to review and refine finalised edits before presenting them to Creative Manager.
Maintain a database of music, stock and assets for production reuse.
Ensure technical quality across all edits (video, lighting, audio, colour) meets the seasonal standards set for each brand.
Ensure equipment is looked after and upgraded when required to ensure high-quality standards.
Ensure Youtube video content is managed and categorised seasonally.
Ensure all Mr Price store video content is uploaded and scheduled correctly by the Senior Videographer.
Manage and control budget for gear hire when necessary.
Ensure that project objectives are met and aligned with the overall campaign.
Source on trend music for edits.
Organise digital assets in shared drives and folders.
Team Leadership & Talent Development
Directly manage the full video team (Senior Videographer, Videographer and Junior Videographer) and oversee the development of the team.
Set goals, KPIs and facilitate ongoing career development discussions, individual development plans.
Build the video team's capability across shooting, editing and motion.
