Job description

Family-owned boutique winery and guesthouse in the Devon Valley of Stellenbosch offfering a vacancy.

The successful candidate should have 5 years experience in the industry, hands on, honest, organized and committed. The farm security guard protects the agricultural property, the buildings, equipment and crops against theft, trespassing and vandalism.

Key Responsibilities:

Patrols: Conduct regular on foot patrols around the perimeter, fences, gates, buildings and water sources (dam).

Acces Control: Monitor entry and exit points, check visitors/vehicle identification and enforce farm biosecurity or safety rules.

Reporting: Keep clear logs of unusual incidents, and report security breaches immediately to the tactical response company as well as farm management.

Duties will be mainly night duties and weekends (day and night).
