Drive category growth and brand success by leading category management and placement strategies across key accounts. **Shopper Insights**

  

* Commission local shopper insights (e.g.: shopper research, shelf tests etc) to enhance local success models with factual data. The learnings from such activities to be shared and leveraged across the whole organisation as appropriate (sales, marketing, trade marketing, key customers)


* Responsible for delivering research projects that improve Reckitt's understanding of shopper behaviour to support category reviews with customers which will assist in securing local success model executions.

  

**Customer Category and Planogram Excellence**

  

* Presenting category shopper insights/stories to our customers as required \& support National Account Managers and Key Account Managers at Buyer appointments relating to any/all category specific discussions.


* Contributes to Key Account category business plans, with customer \& category analysis and promotional strategy evaluation – works together with Trade Marketing to recommend in store actions aimed at strengthening Reckitt's position in the category.


* Key contact for any/all correspondence relating to planograms either received from Customers or Category leaders.


* Own NPD process for owned category segments and support the overall category trade marketing initiatives


* Manage process of planogram timings – ensure planograms are received/ reviewed/ feedback given by the relevant Trade Marketing Manager

* Knowledge of merchandising standards and the FMCG industry
* Product and category knowledge
* Ability to analyse ZMORE reports for ordering and stock taking
* Report bad/suspicious behaviour relating to both staff and customers

* Willing and able to work retail hours
* Able and physically fit to lift and move heavy boxes, and ensure health and safety standards are adhered to
* Reliable transport and/or reside in close proximity to the store
* South African citizen
