 Position exist within the Packing Department at Durban Rice Plant invite applicants to apply for this position. This position will report to the Production Supervisor.
   

  

**Responsibilities**
* Inspect pallets prior to stacking.
* Use the correct pallet size for packing and ensure pallets are covered with pallet sheet covers.
* Stack all products neatly according to pallet configuration.
* Ensure the correct number of packets are in the bales.
* Place the correct barcode labels for the relevant products.
* Inspect the products for any damages or quality issues.
* Check if the date code is correct.
* Ensure that housekeeping is always maintained.
* Ensure compliance with all GMP and all food safety rules.
* Report any food safety or quality non\-conformances to your supervisor.
* Always comply with all safety rules.
* Report any near misses.


**Qualifications**
* Minimum: NQF 4 or Grade 12 or similar relevant qualification
* 12 months’ experience in a similar environment.
