Human Resources Assistant -ER

Job Advert Summary

To ensure smooth coordination and administration of the employee relations section.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate)
• HR Certificate
• 1-2 years experience in administration or labour relations, preferably in an HR environment
• Computer literacy (Ms office suite)
• Valid driver's licence with ability to pass RWK 53
• Desired Education: National Diploma/ Degree in Business Administration, Labour Relations or HRM or an equivalent NQF Levels 6 will be an added advantage

Primary Duties

• Be the first point of contact for all departmental ER queries
• Assist HR specialist and Head of the HR with all ER related queries that may arise from various departments
• Ensure that all ER cases are timelessly captured on the ER record
• Administration of compliance process
• Assist HR projects as and when required
• Administrative and coordination flair
• Assist in coordination of ER training programs
• Assist in coordination of disciplinary hearings, grievances hearings and JPS meetings
• Management of Employee Relations documents
• Provide centralised workflow and administrative support.

Knowledge

• Good understanding of employee relations
• Good understanding of regulations that impacts on employee relations (LRA, EEA, BCEA)
• Sound knowledge of Rand Waters’ business
• Analytical reasoning and conceptualising
