Managing Executive: Human Resources

Rewardsco is looking for an exceptional HR executive to help build the people capability required for our next phase of growth.

This is not a role focused on maintaining an existing HR function.

Reporting to the Managing Director: Rewardsco Sales, you will have the mandate to shape and build a people strategy and operating model capable of supporting a large, high-volume and growing business.

• Build a people strategy and operating model that enables sustainable business growth.
• Create a workforce model that anticipates demand and delivers the right capability at the right time and cost.
• Build a scalable talent pipeline that can support rapid growth without compromising quality.
• Improve the journey from recruitment to productive performance, particularly speed to competency and early-life retention.
• Deliver measurable improvement in attrition, absenteeism, productivity and workforce cost.
• Build leadership capability, succession depth and internal mobility across the organisation.
• Strengthen the systems, technology, governance and people infrastructure required to operate effectively at scale.
• Turn people data into commercial insight that improves executive decision-making.
• Build and lead a high-performing HR function that is accountable for business outcomes, not HR activity.

Requirements Who we are looking for

A proven HR executive who has led at significant scale in a complex, high-volume environment.

You will bring strong commercial judgement, workforce planning and people analytics capability, deep employee relations experience, and a strong understanding of South African labour, transformation and skills development requirements.

Experience in BPO, contact centres, outsourced sales, retail, logistics or another high-volume environment will be highly relevant.

Most importantly, we are looking for evidence that you have built, transformed and improved organisations, not simply managed established HR functions.
