WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Production Administrator Intern will assist in most administrative work around production, this includes providing support for Process, Quality, Safety and maintenance paperwork, also dedicated support to Plant Managers and Snr Supervisors in monitoring variances and ensuring stock accuracy. The intern will work closely with the Works Order Administrator and production teams to strengthen compliance, reporting, and operational efficiency. Interns will also assist in ensuring Implementation of the new track and trace system, which will link raw date with the direct production.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist Plant Managers with variance tracking and reconciliation.
- Support stock accuracy initiatives, including data verification and reporting.
- Work alongside the Works Order Administrator to process and monitor works orders.
- Provide administrative and analytical support for production records.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure Implementation of Track and track system
- Prepare basic reports and summaries for management review.
- Adheres and implements Rheinmetall Denel Munitions Policies and Procedures and ensures compliance to ISO Standards with respect to SHE/Quality/Environmental/Energy. WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
POST REQUIREMENTS**:**
- National Diploma in Operations Management, Management services or equivalent qualification.
- Computer Literate and able to operate, Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
- Good communication, planning and organizing skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a production environment.
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime as required by the business.
