BP’s SA Fuels delivers 1\.6 billion litres of fuel in bulk to over 500 outlets in the B2C markets through a network of some 10 depots. The delivery vehicle fleet consists of about 65 vehicles non\-dedicated fully outsourced contracted transport bulk vehicles driving about 6 million kilometres per year. The Transport Reconciliation Clerk role is responsible provide transactional integrity of fuel deliveries reconciliation for deliveries done by road transport contractors.

 **Key Accountabilities:**

* The Junior Transport Analyst is accountable for validating and reconciling successful deliveries in a PDI Logistics Cloud (PLC) scheduling system and SAP, ensuring accuracy in load reconciliation and closure; ensuring that correct customers are eventually invoiced with the correct product and quantity.
* Daily Recording of stock movements for transport operations as result of any monitoring activities of the trip fulfilling done by the bulk vehicle operators (BVOs) using on\-board vehicles computers (OVCs).
* Lead investigations into transactions or deliveries that require customer credit notes due to short deliveries, spillages, or contamination, and advise Finance accordingly.
* Follows up with road transport contractors, when necessary, regarding questions or clarifications to trips executed.
* When required, fulfil and reconcile any movement in PLC during a contingency when trips are completed via paper bill of ladings and paper delivery notes is required.
* Together with the transport supervisors/trainers coach BVOs on usage of OVCs, and highlight any inefficiencies by the RTC and none use of the OVC device
* Ensures that all the movements key performance indicators, transport losses/gains and kilometres are within tolerance and out of tolerance movements are investigated and corrected. Record of gain and loss is kept in the operation to ensure compliance to the 0\.05 policy of gain and loss
* Ensure that where applicable document management and storage is adhered to.
* Attend to all transport stock queries timeously.

**Requirements:**

  

Education

* Diploma in transport/logistics management or related qualification or appropriate relevant extensive experience in fuel transport fulfilling/reconciliation.

  

Experience

* Demonstrated initial working experience preferably in transport fulfilling/reconciling, or stock management.
* Strong numerical background will support applicant in this role.
* Be able to work in cross\-functional teams with good communication skills.
* Experience with SAP and Transport Scheduling and Transport Management Systems (TMS) will be advantageous

  

Skills \& Competencies

* Customer service orientation.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse data.
* A good understanding of fuel secondary transport execution and stock management.

 Formulation of different AI whilst adhering to UPL BOM procedures, handling of dangerous goods including flammables and hazardous, maintain accuracy and efficiency of processes \- OEE, CCP, RFT, SHEQ,5S, yields attainment and deliver daily production targets as per scheduled daily plan.

* Operate and monitor designated equipment and machinery, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
* Record production data accurately, including quantities, quality checks, and equipment status.
* Perform routine checks and maintenance on equipment to ensure operational effectiveness, including PvA, OEE, CCP, RFT, Production yields, Inventory accuracy.
* Assist in troubleshooting and resolving minor operational issues in collaboration with the Team Leader or Maintenance team.
* Ensure quality assurance in line with UPL standards and oversee Line operator’s assigned to the relevant work centre , activities, optimise, trouble shoot and mentor.
