### **Duties \& Responsibilities**

* Supervise and coordinate cleaning staff and activities.
* Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
* Maintain cleaning schedules, records, and incident reports.
* Train staff on cleaning procedures and Tsebo protocols.
* Respond to client queries and escalate issues when necessary.

### **Skills and Competencies**

* Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
* Health and Safety training is an advantage.
* Strong communication and team coordination skills.
* 2–3 years’ experience in a cleaning environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

* Minimum – Grade 12 / Matric.

About the Role

Preemus Supplies is looking for a reliable, hands\-on Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee our casual housekeeping team at one of our hotel clients.

This position is ideal for someone with a strong housekeeping background who enjoys leading people, maintaining high standards, and ensuring smooth day\-to\-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct site visits 2–3 times per week to monitor staff performance.
* Ensure all casual staff report for duty on time.
* Verify that staff are wearing the correct uniform, safety boots, and name badges.
* Ensure attendance registers are completed and signed correctly.
* Inspect assigned work areas to ensure hotel housekeeping standards are maintained.
* Address staff concerns and report any absenteeism, misconduct, or performance issues.
* Provide guidance and support to staff where necessary.
* Maintain professional communication with hotel management and the Preemus Supplies management team.

Minimum Requirements

* Minimum of **2 years' housekeeping experience** in a hotel, lodge, or similar hospitality environment.
* Previous supervisory or team leader experience will be an advantage.
* Good understanding of hotel housekeeping standards and procedures.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Reliable, organised, and able to work independently.
* Professional appearance and excellent attention to detail.
* Must be available to start immediately.
* Must have reliable transport to travel to the hotel.
