· 3–5 years’ debtors/credit control experience.

* To contact debtors telephonically and by way of e\-mail correspondence in order to recover outstanding payments. Ensure details of correspondence is accurately recorded and maintained.
* To ensure account and contact details are correct.
* To contact account related key contact individuals to facilitate payment.
* To contact customers telephonically, with authorization, before suspending their accounts to remind them of the need for payment. Check payment terms / clauses before suspension.
* To follow up to ensure payment arrangements are honoured.
* To handle account queries and respond to all e\-mail and telephonic queries received and see the matters through to completion.
* To use past correspondence to track the history of queries to establish the correct person/s to speak to and to establish past action taken so as not to frustrate the clients.
