We are looking for a highly organised and service\-oriented **Payroll Support Administrator** to join our Human Capital team at Head Office in Reitz.


This role is ideal for someone who enjoys **helping people, solving administrative queries, and maintaining exceptional accuracy in a structured, deadline\-driven environment.**


This position serves as the **first point of contact for payroll\-related employee queries and support requests** across the Group. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Payroll Specialists, assist employees with payroll and statutory documentation, and ensure the accurate completion of a wide range of payroll support activities.


The role requires an individual with exceptional attention to detail, strong administrative capabilities, and the ability to remain focused and productive in a fast\-paced, deadline\-driven environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Payroll Support \& Employee Service**

* Act as the first point of contact for payroll\-related employee queries.
* Assist employees with payroll support requests and payroll tickets.
* Provide employee service confirmations and employment\-related documentation.
* Reprint and distribute payroll documentation, including payslips, IRP5 certificates, and related records.
* Assist with payroll\-related reporting and administrative support.

**Statutory Administration \& Compliance**

* Assist Payroll Specialists with UIF administration and related employee documentation.
* Prepare and process UIF documentation for maternity, illness, unemployment, and other claims.
* Submit monthly UIF declarations and maintain supporting records.
* Assist with ITA88 and other SARS\-related payroll documentation.
* Support payroll compliance activities, audits, and Department of Labour enquiries.
* Maintain accurate filing systems and payroll records in accordance with company and legislative requirements.

**Employee Self\-Service (ESS) Administration**

* Create, maintain, and terminate Employee Self\-Service (ESS) user profiles.
* Reset ESS passwords and provide user support.
* Assist employees with ESS setup and usage on mobile devices.
* Support leave\-related administration and ESS leave approval processes.

**Payroll Administration**

* Perform weekly Bank AVS (Account Verification Service) validations to ensure employee banking details correspond with active employees.
* Support basic payroll processing activities on Sage 300 People.
* Assist Payroll Specialists with routine payroll administration and system maintenance.

**Minimum Requirements**

* Grade 12 (Matric)
* Additional short courses, certificates or payroll related training will be advantageous
* Minimum 2 years' experience in Payroll Administration, Human Resources Administration, or a similar support function.
* Minimum 2 years' experience working on Sage 300 People.
* Practical experience dealing with payroll documentation and employee queries.
* Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
* Afrikaans and English communication skills will be advantageous.
* Must be based in, or willing to relocate to, Reitz.

* Recruit and train Sales Agents in line with the company's requirements and regional structure.
* Ensure new team members complete the required training and competency programme.

* Maintain the outlet's presentation, signage, and displays to required standards.
* Safeguard company stock, equipment, and other assets.

* Climb tall structures daily (18 meters or more).
