- Ensure that the flight is conducted safely and efficiently in a timely manner.

Fuel Attendant

Overview :  

The Fuel Attendant is responsible for managing and dispensing fuel for bakery delivery vehicles, generators, and other equipment. This role ensures safe fuel handling, accurate record\-keeping, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations while supporting smooth bakery operations

  


Responsibilities:  

* Dispense fuel to bakery delivery trucks, vans, and equipment safely and efficiently.
* Monitor and maintain fuel storage tanks and fuel levels.
* Keep accurate records of fuel usage, deliveries, and inventory.
* Inspect vehicles and equipment before and after fueling for leaks or safety concerns.
* Ensure fuel station and surrounding areas are clean and free from hazards.
* Follow all health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
* Report fuel discrepancies, equipment malfunctions, or safety issues to management.
* Assist with basic vehicle checks (oil, water, tire pressure) when required.
* Coordinate with suppliers during fuel deliveries.

Receive chemical deliveries from Diversey
   

  

 Drive a forklift (only if you have been trained)
   

  

 Offloading of chemicals from truck
   

  

 Submit relevant paperwork after deliveries to Technicians
   

  

 Transfer chemicals from bulk storage to daytanks, if necessary. Use barricades and signage
   

  

 Check and record all stock levels
   

  

 Complete a daily usage report
   

  

 Compile Action Log for each report
   

  

 Submit the daily pasteurizer report to Account Manager/Technician before shift end
   

  

 Complete a daily service report for boilers,cooling systems , pasteurizers and chlorine dioxide
   

  

 Check for slime and beer foam in the pasteurizer.
   

  

 Collect samples from boilers , cooling systems , pasteurizers and chlorine dioxide systems for testing purposes .
   

  

 Check for leaks in equipment, pumps, tanks, around chemical stations
   

  

 Check if the are enough testing reagents onsite .
   

  

 Capture data/ concerns from operators Ensure good housekeeping around the bulk storage areas \& chemical stations

Water Treatment Operetor

**Overview**
 Responsible for transporting large quantities of goods over long distances.
   

  

**Responsibilities**
* Responsible for prompt delivery in bulk, or bag to assigned customers and ensured that Products were delivered with no driver related defects
* Communicating with dispatch regarding delivery details, delays, and problems with the delivery
* Monitoring the operation of vehicles to ensure safe driving practices are used at all times
* Maintaining accurate records of fuel usage, vehicle maintenance schedules, and cargo loads and ensure that fuel consumption is at the agreed standard
* Inspecting and maintaining vehicles to ensure they are safe for operation on the road
* Responsible for inspection of tyres, lights, trailer couplings and maintaining of oil and water levels to accepted standards
* Ensure truck maintained in good order, including general cleanliness and condition of bodywork and no issued equipment or sparewheels missing
* Responsible for reporting of defects/zero breakdowns, responsible for safety of vehichle and adherence to good driving practices including safety inspection stops
* Responsible for initial fault finding iro vehicle breakdowns, including tyre changes
* Ensured availability on Cell Phone
* Zero Speed/Traffic related fines
* Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures


**Qualifications**
* Matric
* Long distance Code 14 licensed driver
* Ability to drive for long periods of time.
* Navigation skills.
* Ability to lift heavy objects if needed.
* Knowledge of road safety rules.
* Communication Skills
