The Role

Your primary objective will be to help restore the capability and reliability of our existing production assets while delivering the engineering projects required to build a stronger factory for the future.

* Assess production equipment and establish the gap between current performance and intended/rated capability.
* Develop and maintain asset\-recovery plans across our production lines and critical plant infrastructure.
* Identify mechanical, electrical, automation, utility, obsolescence and reliability constraints affecting production.
* Convert technical problems into properly scoped engineering interventions.

· Ability to diagnose practical equipment constraints and convert them into executable technical solutions.

**POSITION OVERVIEW**

We are looking for an experienced and competent Millwright to join our maintenance team within a fast\-paced manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, fault\-finding, repair and optimisation of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment to ensure maximum plant availability and minimise production downtime.

· Carry out mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs, maintenance, and servicing on customer’s fleet of mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), telehandlers, material handling, and earth moving equipment at customer sites and in the Repair Centre Rustenburg workshop. Ensure maximum equipment uptime through quality first\-time repairs, efficient on\-site diagnostics, and compliance with OEM service standards and OHS Act safety requirements. The efficient and quality rebuild, refurbishment and repair of customer equipment in the Repair Centre Rustenburg workshop, within budget and compliant with OEM standards and OHS Act safety requirements.

**Qualifications:**

· Grade 12/N3

· Recommended: Trade qualification (Millwright/ Diesel Mechanic or Auto Electrician).

· Preferred: Telehandler / Earth Moving Equipment certification**.**

**Experience:**

* Required: 3\+ years’ experience as a technician in a workshop or field service environment
* Preferred: Experience on telehandler and earth moving equipment
* Preferred: Mining, construction, industrial maintenance, or manufacturing plant environment experience

**Technical Skills \& Tools:**
