We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Cape Town office, reporting to the Head of Finance, Compliance and Reporting. Cape Town supports the whole Group, so you’ll own the AP ledger across every entity we operate weekly supplier payment runs for all group companies, daily transport provider runs in the UK, Spain and France, the reconciliations behind them, and the month\-end close. It’s a broad remit for a small team, and one where you’ll have genuine autonomy.


You’ll play a key role in delivering a robust, reconciled and controlled environment. One where we maximise our cashflow, recognise cost and liabilities accurately, deal with issues promptly, and keep the ERP populated with high\-quality data so we understand our financial position at all times.

**What you'll be doing:**
-------------------------

* Day\-to\-day management of all Accounts Payable processes. These include monitoring our central accounts inbox, reviewing and processing all supplier invoices and credit notes in our spend management system, and ensuring these are accurately coded for entry to our accounting system.
* Managing payment runs for our suppliers across all group entities (weekly) and our transport providers in the UK, Spain and France (daily).
* Acting as the first point of contact for AP queries from budget holders and suppliers.
* Maintaining vendor information within the accounting and spend management systems.
* Owning the AP ledger and ensuring accuracy through regular reconciliations and month\-end close tasks. Be able to provide a full explanation regarding any aged or unusual balances.
* Assisting in the annual audit, providing documentation and explanations where required.
* Identifying inefficiencies in the accounts payable process and suggesting improvements.

**Where this role is going**
----------------------------


We’re not looking for someone who’ll be processing invoices the same way this time next year. We’re actively rebuilding how our finance function runs, and AP is one of the first areas in line with the bulk of this work landing over the next 12 months:

* AI\-assisted invoice capture, coding and exception handling, so the routine volume handles itself and your time goes on the exceptions that actually need judgement.
* Automated reconciliations and close checks that surface breaks before month\-end rather than after it.
* Direct, conversational access to our accounting and data systems, our finance team queries live NetSuite and warehouse data in plain English rather than waiting in a reporting queue.


You’ll help design, implement and maintain these processes, not just inherit them. We’ll give you the tools, the training and genuine licence to experiment, much of what we run today was built by the finance team, not by engineers. You don’t need to arrive as an AI expert. You do need to be the person who asks why we’re still doing something by hand.  

  

AP is where you start, not where you finish. Our Cape Town team covers the full finance stack month\-end close and management reporting, multi\-entity consolidation, VAT and corporate tax compliance across our European markets, audit and treasury. You’ll sit alongside all of it, and as you establish yourself in AP we’ll actively build your exposure to the areas that interest you most. If you’re studying towards a professional qualification or planning to, this is a role where you’ll get the breadth to support it.

The company installs and maintains high accuracy meteorological weather stations, with a focus on solar measurements. **Responsibilities**

Maintain and update the stock management system;

Allocate stock and materials to projects;

Monitor stock levels and re\-order consumables and spares;

Receive and inspect incoming stock deliveries;

Organize and label stock items and storage areas;

Issue stock to technicians, sales and project teams;

Keep stock rooms, receiving areas, and workspaces tidy;

Complete periodic stock takes and audits;

Track cable, terminals, glands, fittings, and other electrical consumables;

Wiring and assembly of weather stations when required.

**Minimum requirements**

Matric Certificate;

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with the day\-to\-day operation and organisation of our warehouse, including:

* Loading and offloading solar panels, batteries, inverters and other solar equipment.
* Operating a forklift to move and position stock safely within the warehouse.
* Receiving incoming stock and checking deliveries against relevant documentation.
* Preparing and loading customer and supplier collections.
* Picking, packing and organising stock for dispatch.
* Assisting with stock counts and maintaining accurate stock levels.
* Identifying and reporting damaged, missing or incorrect stock.
* Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe.
* Assisting with general warehouse duties and stock movement as required.

DRA Water is looking for suitably qualified candidates to apply for the Maintenance Expeditor position. This position will be based at the Head Office in Woodmead.  

  

**PURPOSE**  

  

The Maintenance Expeditor is responsible for ensuring that all planned maintenance activities are fully supported through the timely coordination and expediting of materials, spare parts, equipment, contractors, tooling, and external services required for maintenance execution. The incumbent serves as the critical link between Maintenance Planning, Procurement, Warehouse, Operations, Engineering, and external suppliers to ensure maintenance work is executed safely, efficiently, and according to schedule. The role directly contributes to equipment reliability, maintenance schedule compliance, cost control, and plant availability.  

  

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**  

  

**Maintenance Work Readiness**  

* Review weekly and daily maintenance schedules.
* Verify material availability for planned work.
* Ensure work packs are complete before execution.
* Coordinate outstanding requirements.
* Identify work at risk due to shortages.
* Communicate readiness status to Maintenance Planning.
* Support shutdown planning activities.
* Ensure maintenance resources are available before scheduled work.
* Ensure new projects / assets are updated in the CMMS system, timeously.
* Continuing improvement of PM and asset inspection check lists.
* ConMon report to be completed monthly.

**Materials Expediting**  

* Expedite purchase orders.
* Obtain quotes from suppliers and follow up with suppliers.

* Measure quality of deliveries and issue non\-conformance certificates for poor quality or performance.
* Track repairable components through the delivery notes system.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**  

  

**QUALIFICATIONS**  

* Matric (Grade 12\) with Mathematics and Physical Sciences or an equivalent qualification registered at NQF Level 4, including relevant NATED qualifications such as the N3 Certificate.
* Valid section 13 Trade test / Section 26(D) certificate
* Preferred National Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics or Maintenance Management.
* Training in CMMS, Maintenance Planning, Inventory Management and Advanced Excel.

**EXPERIENCE**  

* 3 \-5 years' experience in Maintenance planning, procurement, warehouse operations or engineering support in the Mining, mineral processing or water industry experience preferred
